Outwardly beautiful, worthy of a festive table and at the same time very tasty, juicy, nourishing minced meat nests under a cheese crust are prepared in no way more complicated than ordinary cutlets or meatballs. Serve them with a side dish if desired, but sauce, herbs, pickles are enough for a full dinner.

Ingredients:
Minced meat - 400 g
Roll - 1 pc.
Milk - 150 ml
Cheese - 200 g
Tomato - 1 pc.
Sour cream or mayonnaise - 5 tsp l.
Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l.
Salt, hot pepper - to taste
Step by step recipe:
To cook delicious minced meat nests with cheese in the oven, take the food listed. Use any kind of twisted / minced meat: pork, beef, poultry, platter.
A small loaf and a couple of slices of loaf chopped into a bowl of milk. Knead until gruel. If the crusts are too hard, it is better to cut and soak only the crumb in the milk. Together with the bread, the meat nests will not shrink during baking, they will retain moisture and juiciness.
Add minced meat to the bread mass. I have - from pork and beef, quite fatty. This does not need additional additives: lard or fat. You have the right to add a little fat passed through a meat grinder to lean minced meat, for example, chicken or turkey. Pepper, salt and mix thoroughly.
We beat off the minced meat. We throw from palm to palm or from a height we throw it from a plate. After such a simple manipulation with any minced meat, it is easier to work - to form kebabs, cutlets, meatballs, as well as our nests.
Lubricate the mold or sheet of foil with vegetable oil. First we sculpt balls with oiled hands. Then we press down the balls and make a depression for the filling in the center in each of them.
Throw tomatoes cut into cubes or circles into the middle.
It is easy to experiment with filling here: mushrooms, zucchini, eggplants, bell peppers, smoked meats, cereals boiled in advance, sautéing - of your choice. If you need more flavor, add sour cream or mayonnaise.
Fill with cheese shavings and put minced meat nests with cheese in the oven (preheated). We bake at 180 degrees until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Serve the nests under the cheese hot, adding sauce and fresh herbs.
