Keeping such a recipe a secret is a real crime! Therefore, I can not help but share it with you. The other day my husband and I were visiting, the hostess prepared a lot of tasty and interesting things, this cake impressed me most of all. Multi-layered filling, crunchy dough and wonderful aroma... when I got home, I couldn't resist making this pie.
We start cooking the pie with the filling. In vegetable oil, I fried diced onions. Onions must be brought to transparency, be sure to salt and pepper.
Next, in the same frying pan, I fry mushrooms, I have champignons. They also need to be pepper and salt at the very beginning of cooking.
Then, after the mushrooms are ready, we transfer them to a plate and send the minced chicken to the pan, I do not add vegetable oil. I cook minced meat until half cooked, in no case do I fry it.
After all the ingredients of our filling have cooled down, you can start "assembling" the cake.
I use yeast-free puff pastry. Roll out the dough into a small rectangle and put the minced meat in the middle as shown in the photo 👇.
Then I put a little grated cheese for juiciness, but this is not necessary, the meat will be tasty and juicy anyway.
On top of the cheese I put mushrooms mixed with onions and again cheese (required).
Now you need to cut the dough from the sides obliquely as shown in the photo below 👇
And putting the strips of dough on top of each other "close" the pie. It turns out a beautiful pigtail.
I grease the pies with a mixture of yolk and milk and send them to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
You need to eat the pie right away while it is hot, but it is also very tasty when cold, be sure to try.
Ingredients for 1 pie:
250 grams of dough, 200 grams of minced meat, 150 grams of mushrooms, 50 grams of cheese, 1 small onion.
