I often met this recipe on the Internet, but never dared to cook it. I doubted that such a combination of ingredients could be delicious, but I still cooked it and did not regret it ...
It is not difficult to cook it, quickly and "without blemish". If you've never cooked this side dish before, I highly recommend it.
So, to prepare such rice from the dishes, you only need a frying pan and nothing else. In a frying pan with vegetable oil, you need to send half a glass of "Gossamer" vermicelli and fry it until golden brown.
This happens quickly enough, literally in 3-5 minutes. Next, put a glass of steamed long-grain rice into the pan, mix well so that the oil envelops each "rice".
And then we fill in water, about one and a half glasses, but the amount of water can be increased depending on the quality of the rice.
Cover with a lid and do not open for about 10 minutes. The rice should completely absorb the liquid. Next, add a piece of butter and mix well.
Rice cooked in this way turns out to be very airy and light, tasty and not greasy. If you wish, you can add spices, I added only salt and black freshly ground pepper.
Ingredients:
vermicelli 0.5 cups
long-link parboiled rice 1 cup
water about 2 glasses
butter 1 tbsp. the spoon
salt, spices to taste
