When I want something meaty and spicy, I cook beef in different variations. Today I want to bring to your attention a recipe for cooking meat in mustard sauce. Cooking meat in this way is very easy, you need a minimum amount of products that you always have at home.
So, I cut the beef into large pieces and send it to the pan where the vegetable oil has already warmed up well.
The meat must be fried until golden brown over high heat. While the meat is "having fun" in the frying pan, I'm doing onions. You need a lot of onions, I take two large onions and cut them in half rings.
After the meat is fried, you need to transfer it from the pan to a plate. I add a little more oil and send the onions and a few whole cloves of garlic to fry.
The onion should become transparent and begin to gilded. It must be salted.
Next, I return the meat back to the pan, pour water so that it covers the meat, salt and pepper until I add. I cover the pan with a lid and simmer the meat over low heat for at least 2 hours.
After two hours, I check the meat for softness, add 1-1.5 tablespoons of mustard with slightly diluted water, bay leaf, salt and pepper to it. I mix well and do not cover, I continue to cook over low heat. The sauce should evaporate and thicken.
That's all the preparations. The meat turns out to be soft, tasty, spicy. I highly recommend this cooking method.
