It is prepared on the basis of fragrant honey cakes and delicate cheese cream. At the same time, it does not take a lot of time and skills to prepare it. Everyone will get such a Heart cake the first time. And the products are all available.

By the way, this cake is versatile. It can be prepared for any occasion. For birthday it can be prepared in the form of a number, for the new year - in the form of a Christmas tree.

Ingredients (for 2 cakes 800 g each):

  • wheat flour - 500 g
  • honey - 115 g
  • butter - 80 g
  • sugar - 200 g
  • soda - 2 tsp l. (no slide)
  • eggs - 2 pcs.

Cream

  • cream cheese - 400 g
  • cream 33% - 200 ml
  • icing sugar - 170 g

Decoration

  • Natural flowers
  • confectionery beads
  • mastic jewelry
  • small meringues

Step by step recipe

Cooking the dough

1. First, let's prepare the dough.
Break 2 eggs into a bowl and add sugar to them. Mix everything with a whisk until light foam.

2. Add butter, honey and soda to the resulting mixture. We put all this mixture in a water bath, the bottom of the bowl should touch the water. We cook the mixture, stirring constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved.
The mixture should expand slightly and fine foam bubbles should appear.

3. Remove the mixture from heat and add flour to it in small portions, stirring it constantly.
When the dough becomes thicker, we continue to knead it with our hands.
The dough should be soft and sticky.

4. Cover the bowl with the dough with cling film and leave at room temperature for 1 hour. If you want to leave it on for longer, refrigerate it.

Cut and bake the cakes

5. After the dough is infused, it becomes very convenient to work with and does not stick.
We take about a third of the dough and roll it out on parchment paper, slightly crushed with flour. The rolled dough should be about 4 mm thick.

Put a paper template on a rolled sheet of dough and cut out a heart on it with a knife.
The number of ingredients is calculated for 2 cakes, so we bake 4 cakes.

6. You can make “Hearts” cookies from the remains of the dough.
We put the prepared cake in a preheated oven up to 180 degrees. We bake for 10-12 minutes.

Cooking cream

7. Now let's prepare the cream. Put cream cheese, icing sugar and cream in a bowl.
Beat the cream with a mixer, first at a low speed and gradually increase it. Beat until you get a dense fluffy mass that keeps its shape.

8. We transfer the cream to a pastry bag.

We fold the cake

9. Apply a little cream on the already cooled cake from below, so that the cake does not slide on the stand.

10. Place the cream on the cake using an asterisk nozzle or a round nozzle.
On top of the cream, carefully put the second heart cake. And put the cream on top of it in the same way.

Decorating the cake

11. Let's prepare fresh flowers for decorating the cake. Each flower stalk is carefully wrapped in plastic wrap. This must be done without fail, since the flowers are in a chemical solution.

12. On top we decorate the cake with prepared flowers, meringues, small marshmallows, mastic hearts and pastry beads.
Before serving, the cake should be allowed to stand in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. As I already said, the amount of these ingredients is enough to make 2 of these cakes weighing about 800 grams each.

The cake turns out to be tender, fragrant and very tasty, and the cream in this cake is simply awesome. Be sure to cook it, it is very easy and simple to prepare.
