Dessert with Tangerines without Baking

In the winter season of tangerines, I definitely recommend making a sour cream dessert with tangerines. It is refreshing, with a citrus note and a slight sourness, moderately sweet and at the same time very delicate.
It is great for a festive table, and the portioned serving is not only beautiful, but also very convenient. This dessert will delight you and your family with its taste and appearance.

Making this jelly dessert is not difficult - even a child can handle it! You can also prepare such a dessert in advance, but be sure to cover it with cling film.
If you also love jelly desserts, then by all means please yourself with such a sour cream dessert with tangerines. It is very simple, gorgeous, beautiful and incredibly delicious.

  • water - 50 ml

Step by step recipe

1. Pour 1 tsp into a bowl. gelatin and pour 50 ml of water. Mix everything and leave the gelatin to swell.

2. We clean about 400 g of tangerines from the skin and, if possible, from white veins. If tangerines have seeds, then they must also be removed. In total, you should get 300 g of peeled tangerines.

3. Pour 2 tablespoons to them. Sahara. Grind everything with an immersion blender until smooth.

4. Put the tangerine mixture on the fire.
Stir periodically and as soon as it boils, remove it from the heat. Leave to cool slightly for 2-3 minutes.

5. Add the swollen gelatin to the still hot mass. Mix everything well.

6. Strain the tangerine mixture with gelatin through a sieve.

7. We immediately pour about half of the tangerine jelly into the bowls. I took 2 bowls with a volume of 280 ml.
Put the jelly in the refrigerator to freeze.

8. While the tangerine layer hardens, prepare the sour cream.
Pour 1 tsp into a bowl. l. gelatin and pour 50 ml of water. Mix everything and leave the gelatin to swell.

9. We take 250 ml of sour cream of any fat content. I used 20%. Pour 1 tbsp to it. sugar and 5 g of vanilla sugar. Mix everything a little. Sour cream should be at room temperature.

10. The gelatin is already swollen. We drown it in the microwave in impulses for 10 seconds. Stir after each time.
Dissolve the swollen gelatin and pour it into sour cream. Mix everything well until smooth.

11. The manarin layer is already frozen. Gently pour half of the prepared sour cream mixture onto it. Again, we set everything to freeze in the refrigerator.

12. When the sour cream layer has frozen, pour the remaining half of the tangerine jelly onto it. Put it in the refrigerator to freeze again.
Pour the remaining sour cream jelly onto the frozen tangerine layer. Put it in the refrigerator to freeze again.

13. The jelly is frozen, now let's start decorating.
We clean the tangerines from the skin and from the white veins. Cut the tangerine slices in half.
We lay out a flower beautifully from these slices for dessert. From this amount of ingredients, 2 dessert bowls of 280 ml were obtained.

Dessert is ready, you can serve it on the table.
This dessert can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator, only it needs to be covered with cling film on top so that it does not wind up.
