Bell peppers and pickled onions add juiciness and freshness to the salad, cheese satiety, and corn savory sweetness. Everything goes well in this holiday salad.
This holiday salad is easy to prepare and only takes 10 minutes of your time. This holiday salad is for those who do not have time for long preparations.
Ingredients:
- canned corn - 1 can
- sweet pepper - 1 pc.
- cheese - 150 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- mayonnaise - 2 tbsp. l.
Marinade for onions:
- boiling water - 1/2 tbsp.
- vinegar 9% - 2 tbsp. l.
- sugar - 1 tsp l.
- salt - 1/2 tsp l.
Step by step recipe
1. First, marinate the onions for the salad.
Cut one onion into cubes. Put the prepared onion in a small bowl. Pour 0.5 tsp to it. l. salt and 1 tsp. l. Sahara. Pour boiling water over everything. Pour 2 tbsp. l. vinegar. I use apple cider vinegar, but you can also use 9% table vinegar. Stir to dissolve the sugar and salt and leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes. It could be longer.
2. Cut out the center with seeds from one large red sweet pepper.
Cut the prepared pepper into cubes.
150 g of cheese three on a coarse grater.
3. Put chopped peppers in a large bowl, pour 1 can of canned corn, put grated cheese and add pickled onions, after draining the liquid from it.
Season the salad with 2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise and mix.
The salad is ready, you can serve it.
Festive Salad in 10 minutes turned out to be tasty and bright. Pepper lends lightness to salad, while cheese lends satiety.
