A simple carrot cake can be classified as a diet baked goods. It has relatively little sugar due to the sweetness of the carrots.
Such a bright fragrant carrot cake is perfect for family tea drinking on cloudy autumn days.
Be sure to make this simple carrot cake. It is not difficult to prepare at all.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • carrots - 250 g
  • wheat flour - 230 g
  • sugar - 150 g
  • vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l.
  • baking powder - 10 g
  • cinnamon - 1 tbsp. l.
  • ground nutmeg - 1 tsp; l.

Step by step recipe

1. First, on a fine grater, three 250 g of fresh carrots.

2. Separately break 4 eggs into a dry bowl. And pour in a pinch of salt.


Begin to beat and gradually add 150 g of sugar.
Beat everything for about 3 minutes until dense foam.

3. Put grated carrots in beaten eggs.
Mix everything with a mixer until smooth.
Preliminarily, in the mixer, we change the beaters to spiral ones.

4. Pour 230 g of flour, 10 g of baking powder for the dough, 1 tbsp. l. ground cinnamon and 1 tsp. l. nutmeg. Mix everything again with a mixer until smooth. At the end, pour 4 tbsp into the dough. l. odorless vegetable oil. We mix everything.

5. Grease the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour. Pour excess flour.
Put the prepared dough into the prepared form. The diameter of my mold is 23 cm.

6. We put everything in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. bake for about 40-45 minutes.

7. We take out the baked pie from the oven and let it cool. Take the cooled cake out of the mold and place it on a dish on which we will serve it on the table. Sprinkle the cake with icing sugar on top and serve.

The carrot cake turned out to be very tasty and aromatic. Carrots give the cake a special juiciness and pleasant sweetish taste, and cinnamon and nutmeg go well with carrots in this cake. It will also be very tasty if you add raisins and orange or lemon zest to this pie. Be sure to cook it such a carrot cake - it is very tasty and easy to prepare.
