Ingredients:
- boiled eggs - 3 pcs.
- fresh carrots - 1 pc. (large)
- boiled carrots - 1 pc.
- canned corn - 1/2 can
- cheese - 100 g
- dill - bunch
- green onions - bunch
- mayonnaise - 3 tbsp. l.
- salt to taste
Step by step recipe
1. First, let's prepare the flower petals to decorate the salad.
Cut 1 egg in half. We take out the yolk. Cut the halves of the protein in half lengthwise.
2. Cut out the middle part of each quarter of the squirrel so that the triangles remain. For each resulting triangle, cut off small tips on both sides.
3. In order for the petal to look more neat and to be the same in thickness, we cut it with a knife. So we cut out all the petals for the daffodils.
For 3 flowers, I needed 3 boiled eggs.
4. The remains of proteins that remain after making the petals are chopped with a knife. We leave one half of the yolk for decoration, and cut the rest of the yolks with a knife.
5. We prepare all the other ingredients for the salad.
Three large fresh carrots on a coarse grater.
Three 100 g of cheese, also on a coarse grater.
6. Finely chop a small bunch of dill.
From a bunch of green onions, choose 5-7 beautiful feathers, we will need them to decorate the salad. Finely chop the rest of the green onions with a knife.
7. Put grated carrots, cheese, half a can of canned corn, chopped whites, yolks, chopped green onions and dill in a bowl.
Salt a little and season with 2-3 tbsp. mayonnaise. Mix everything well.
We transfer the prepared salad to a plate on which we will serve it on the table. Spread the salad on top with a spoon.
8. We beautifully lay out the feathers of green onions on the salad, imitating a bouquet.
Put the prepared daffodil petals on the onion. We form 3 flowers.
9. In order to make the middle of the daffodils, cut into long slices of boiled carrots with a vegetable peeler. We twist the plates into a tube. Cut the resulting tube in the middle into 2 parts.
10. We put the carrot centers in the center of the flowers. Sprinkle on top of the middle with crumbled yolk, which we left.
The salad is ready, you can serve it on the table.
