  • Cut the meat as for regular kebabs.
  • For the oven, cubes with a side of 2-3 cm, if you are going to grill, you can make the cubes a little larger.
  • Grind herbs and mix with yogurt.
  • Add salt and pepper to this.
  • Mix everything well and add the marinade to the meat.
Marinate meat
  • Cover the bowl with cling film and leave for about an hour at room temperature.
  • If you cook meat in advance (several hours in advance), then it is better to put it in the refrigerator.
  • Pickled meat can be grilled in a pan or oven.
  • I will make kebab in the oven.
  • Cover the wire rack with foil.
  • Make holes in the foil to prevent meat juices from accumulating.
  • Place a baking sheet with foil or sand under the wire rack in the oven so as not to stain the oven.
  • You will need to periodically open the oven and sprinkle the meat on top so that it does not dry out.
  • Add a little vegetable oil to the marinated meat for barbecue and mix.

Preheat the oven to 230-240 ° C degrees.

  • String kebabs on skewers. (I have wooden skewers and soak them in cold water for 20 minutes to keep them from burning.)
  • I chopped up the bell pepper and put it between the pieces of meat.
  • Soak the meat for about 15 minutes on one side and 15 minutes on the other (depending on the oven).
