Feeding children with fish is usually not possible, but recently I started practicing fish cakes. If the children categorically refuse to eat a piece of fish, then the cutlets fly off with a bang!
So, for cutlets we need:
- Fillet of any fish (I have a hake) 500 gr.
- Onion - 1 piece
- A loaf of bread
- Milk - 50 ml
Previously, I put an egg in the minced meat, but having made them the last time without eggs, I realized that the taste has not changed. They became even softer and more airy.
Finely chop the onion.
I put the thawed fish fillets into the combine, add the chopped onion and bread, which I have previously soaked in milk. Of course, a crust of bread needs to be squeezed out a little.
The combine will do all the work for you. Beat for a minute until smooth, salt.
Minced meat is ready. We form small cutlets
and fry on high heat on one side, then turn over to the other side, reduce heat and cover with a lid.
After 7 minutes, the patties are ready. In volume, they increase one and a half times. Taste like a fish soufflé - they are so airy and tender. I usually have rice for fish, but everyone has their own preferences for the side dish.
That's all! Bon Appetit everyone
