✅ Recently, I began to often buy the most ordinary, cheap semolina and make very tasty pastries from it for tea or coffee. It turns out just wonderful and no one has yet guessed that this pastry is with semolina and without flour. And it comes out very budgetary, that's very straightforward! See for yourself. And you don't need to knead the dough with your hands.

I add sugar and a pinch of salt. I mix well so that all the ingredients are mixed together.

Now, if you wish, you can add vanillin, cinnamon, or, alternatively, lemon or orange zest. Or you can not add anything of this.

I'll take the lemon zest. I rub it on a grater.

Kneading the dough

Then I add odorless vegetable oil. I will mix a little.

I add soda (quench it with lemon juice, you can use vinegar) and mix the dough well again with a spoon.

I take some dough and roll it into walnut-sized balls. I spread it about 3 cm on a baking sheet. apart.
