By the way, you can use any vegetable mixture that you like best. You can also add mushrooms to this dish.
If you don't fast, add minced meat to the filling and sprinkle with grated cheese on top. And you will have an amazingly tasty and satisfying dish for dinner.

Ingredients:
- frozen vegetable mixture - 500 g
- thin pita bread - 2 sheets
- carrots - 1 pc.
- onion - 1 pc.
- garlic - 2 cloves
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper - to taste
Sauce
- water - 400 ml
- tomato paste - 100 g
- sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
- salt - 1 tsp l.
Step by step recipe
1. First, let's prepare the filling for the rolls.
Cut the onion into cubes. Put the chopped onion in a hot frying pan with sunflower oil. Fry the onions until golden brown.
2. While the onion is fried, finely chop 2 cloves of garlic. And three carrots on a coarse grater.
3. Add chopped garlic to the already fried onions. And almost immediately add the grated carrots.
Mix everything and fry for about 2 minutes more.
4. Add half a kilogram of a mixture of frozen vegetables to the pan. Mix everything, cover and simmer over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.
5. At the end of cooking, salt and pepper the vegetables.
Mix everything and remove from heat.
6. We make two long vegetable rolls. We take a sheet of pita bread and spread half of the vegetable filling on it. Distribute it evenly over the sheet.
7. Gently roll the lavash stuffed into a roll.
We make the second vegetable roll in the same way.
Cut the prepared rolls into small rolls.
8. Put the resulting rolls in a baking dish.
9. Now let's prepare the tomato sauce. Put 100 g of tomato paste in a stewpan, one level tablespoon of sugar, one level teaspoon of salt.
Pour 400 ml here. water.
We put everything on fire and heat until salt and sugar dissolve.
10. Pour the vegetable rolls evenly with the resulting sauce.
We put the form in a preheated oven up to 180 degrees. bake for 20-25 minutes.
