I used to know only one red cabbage salad, which my mother and I prepared for all the holidays. We called it "Nonsense" (at the end of the article I will leave a link to a video where I showed how I made this salad and told where this name came from). The salad is not bad, but it often stayed, because it did not look very attractive against the background of other salads. And the next day he changed color and no one wanted to eat him at all.
This is probably why I very rarely buy red cabbage (we always call it "blue"). But recently I tried a new salad. And I really liked him! I want to share this unusual recipe.
Great combination of ingredients! Unusual, unusual, but very tasty! Now I will buy such cabbage more often. Although with ordinary white cabbage, this salad is not bad, but I liked the blue one more!
How to cook
I cut the cabbage into thin strips.
In the same way, I cut a radish and a sour apple into strips. I add to the cabbage. Radish is definitely needed here. You can replace it with radish, for example. But I would recommend trying with a radish first.
Greens. Here you can take to taste. But what I liked about the salad was a few mint leaves. Moreover, I tried it with dry mint - not at all. We need just fresh. Although the salad is no less tasty without it)) I still have a few parsley leaves and two lettuce leaves here.
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, add the roasted pumpkin seeds and dressing. For dressing, I mix olive oil, lemon juice, honey and mustard in a separate plate. I stir the salad. And that's it!
