Preparing an onion appetizer is as easy as shelling pears, literally in a matter of minutes + 15 minutes in the oven. Even on the festive table I serve such an onion and never a piece is left. π
You can even eat with bread, or you can eat with potatoes, buckwheat or meat. Such onions are good both hot and cold. This onion tastes better than fried and is much easier to make. Cut it, mix it with other ingredients and "forget". There is no need to stand at the stove.
