Hello dear readers, thank you for visiting my channel!
Easter is coming! I love this holiday precisely because of the vanity before its onset. I need to bake cakes, buy various goodies, this year I will even make Easter sweets. And, of course, paint the eggs, but just putting eggs in a can of paint is no longer interesting. That is why many housewives come up with different ways every year, last year I painted eggs with food paint using napkins and cotton swabs. The result is original, similar to space, or as they are also called, marble eggs. This year I stumbled upon a very simple way to decorate eggs using Hibiscus tea, it became interesting and decided to try it.
There is practically nothing to do ...
I bought hibiscus tea in "Magnet" for 65 rubles, in a pack of 80 grams. At home, she poured tea into a small saucepan and poured cold water over it and put it on the fire.
The tea should boil over medium heat for 15 minutes. Next, put white washed, already boiled eggs in a saucepan and leave them for several hours.
In the article where I subtracted this method of coloring, it was said that the longer the eggs are in the infusion, the more intense the color will be. In the photo, the author had eggs of the color of a ripe plum with small veins, it looked spectacular.
I took the eggs out of the tea leaves and washed them under running water. This is the color I got 👇
I expected the color to be more intense, but this one suits me perfectly, I would call it "sea" or "stone".
In the same article, it was stated that if you add a little citric acid to the tea leaves, the color of the eggs will be bright pink. I have not checked, if you try to paint eggs in this way, write about your result, please.
And these are the very Easter candies that I will cook for the holiday. A detailed recipe can be found here.
