Today I want to bring to your attention a recipe a very simple dish that I cook from chicken drumsticks just in a pan.

Now every week I buy chicken legs and cook such a dish in a pan (delicious and quick recipe)

Basically, this dish only needs 3 main ingredients. At the same time, the chicken turns out to be very tender, aromatic and tasty.

Everything is prepared very simply and it turns out really tasty and satisfying!

📕Ingredients for cooking: 🥙

Chicken drumsticks - 6-8 pcs.
Onions (large) - 3 pcs.
Sour cream (the fatter the better) - 3 tbsp. l.
Vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp. l.
Ground paprika - 1 / 2-1 tsp l. (taste)
Salt, black pepper - to taste.

The first step is to prepare the shins. Wash them thoroughly, inspect them for feathers and remove them if necessary, and then dry them with paper towels. Remove the skin from the legs if desired. Then, on one side of each leg, we make 2-3 oblique cuts with a knife - this is necessary so that the chicken meat cooks faster and is better saturated with sour cream sauce.

Fold the prepared drumsticks into a deep bowl, sprinkle them with ground pepper, salt and paprika. If desired, you can use other spices that go well with chicken meat. Mix everything so that the seasoning is evenly distributed over the surface of the shins.

Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan and lay out the chicken. Fry over medium-high heat until golden brown. On average, it takes 3-4 minutes on each side.

In the meantime, the chicken is fried, peel the onion and cut it into half rings or quarter rings.

By this time, the chicken drumsticks are already fried, we transfer them from the pan to a separate bowl, and instead of them we pour out the chopped onion and cook it until soft and light golden brown.

Add a little salt, add sour cream. If the sour cream is sour, add a small pinch of sugar.

We mix.

Put the previously fried drumsticks in the resulting sauce, cover the pan with a lid and simmer over a minimum heat for 10-15 minutes.

Then we turn the chicken legs over so that they are soaked in the gravy on all sides, and continue cooking for another 7-10 minutes.
