Salted lard - 200 g
Onions - 1 pc. (large enough head)
Fresh garlic - 3-4 cloves
Ground pepper (only black or a mixture) - 2 pinches
Fresh herbs to taste

✨ Absolutely any bacon, salted in any way - dry or in brine, with or without spices, is suitable for the preparation of this appetizer ...
The only condition is that it must be soft. If there is salt or leaves of lavrushka or other seasoning on the surface of the bacon, they need to be scraped off with a knife. The skin, if it is tough, must be cut off - this way the snack will be much more pleasant to eat. Next, cut the prepared bacon into short and not very thin strips. We transfer to a deep salad bowl.
Pepper a little, you can also add other spices as you wish. We clean the garlic, chop it in any way convenient for you - pass it through a press, finely chop it or three on a grater and also add it to the bacon.
Finely chop the greens. This time I have parsley and dill. You can take one thing or, conversely, add cilantro - it will turn out even more fragrant.
Cut the onion into thin half rings and also pour into a common bowl. I have sweet salad onions, but you can use regular ones too. Pour vinegar and mix everything.
