Today I make simple and quick cakes instead of bread for breakfast. Fragrant, soft and delicious!
I need one small squash.
I rub the zucchini on a coarse grater.
Salt the zucchini, about 1/2 teaspoon. Stir and leave for 10 minutes.
The zucchini stood and let in a lot of juice. I add one egg.
I pour in 120 ml of kefir 3.2% fat. I mix well.
You can add ham, I grated it on a coarse grater.
I also add grated cheese and finely chopped green onions. I mix everything again.
In 400 grams of flour I add 1 teaspoon with the top of the baking powder. I stir. I have kefir in the dough, the baking powder can be replaced with 1/2 teaspoon of soda.
Pour flour with baking powder into the squash mass and knead the dough. The result should be a very sticky dough.
I sprinkle the table thoroughly with flour, spread about 1 tablespoon with a decent top of the dough.
Roll the dough in flour on all sides and flatten it into a cake. First with my hands, then I help with a rolling pin.
I warm up the frying pan, the heat is medium. I shake off the excess flour from the cake and put it on a dry frying pan. As it gets gilded - I turn it over!
When the cake is browned on the other side, I take it off. While it is hot, grease with butter.
The cakes are fragrant, soft and delicious! Try to cook!
