Ingredients:

  • large shrimps - 300 g
  • cherry tomatoes - 200 g
  • mini mozzarella cheese - 100 g
  • arugula - 60 g
  • walnut - 30 g
  • garlic - 2 cloves

Sauce:

  • olive oil - 3-4 tbsp.
  • mustard grains - 2 tsp l.
  • Italian herbs (seasoning) - 1 tsp l.
  • apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp. l.
  • salt - 1/2 tsp l.

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare the sauce for the salad.
Pour about 0.5 tsp into a bowl. salt., 1 tsp. Italian herbs, add 2 tsp. mustard seeds or regular mustard. Pour 1 tablespoon here. apple cider vinegar, you can replace it with 2 tablespoons. lemon juice, and add 3 tbsp. vegetable oil. I used olive. Mix everything until the sauce becomes thicker. Leave the sauce to infuse and prepare all the other ingredients.

2. Cut about 60 g of arugula into smaller pieces.
Cut 200 g of cherry tomatoes into halves.
Cut 100 g of mini mozzarella into halves.

3. Cut approximately 30 g of walnuts into pieces. Hazelnuts can be used instead of walnuts.
Pour the nuts into a hot pan. Fry, stirring occasionally over medium heat until light golden brown.

4. Cut 2 garlic cloves into slices.
Put the garlic in a preheated pan with vegetable oil. Immediately, without frying the garlic, lay out the peeled large shrimps. Previously, the shrimp must be thawed at room temperature and peeled from the shell.

5. When the shrimps are curled into rings and a little fried, turn them over to the other side.
Remove the finished shrimp from the pan on a paper towel.
In total, 300 g of unpeeled frozen shrimp were needed for the salad.

6. We fold the salad.
Put the chopped arugula on a large flat dish. Distribute it evenly over the dish. Put the halves of the tomatoes on top. We spread the mini mozzarella.

7. And spread the prepared shrimp evenly.
Sprinkle the salad with fried nuts. Pour everything with the prepared sauce, after mixing it again.
The salad is ready, you can serve it on the table.
