Finally, the long-awaited May holidays have come and you can safely spend the weekend without hurrying anywhere. Many people get out of the city and my family is no exception, we went to the village to visit our parents, where there will definitely be barbecue. Barbecue relies on light, savory and quick snacks, some of which I will tell you today.

Tomatoes with suluguni, herbs and garlic

My "popular" picnic recipes: salads and snacks (you can cook in nature)

This appetizer salad can be made right at a picnic. Cooking is very simple and quick.

Ingredients:

4-5 fresh fragrant tomatoes
70-100 grams of Suluguni cheese
Greens (onions and parsley)
1-2 cloves of garlic
vegetable oil for dressing

How to cook: chop the tomatoes at random, mash the cheese with a fork, finely chop the greens, chop the garlic with a knife or through a press. Mix everything in one container, add salt and pepper to taste and season with oil.

Korean zucchini with carrots

I personally like to eat this appetizer with baked potatoes, it's very tasty! Of course, it needs to be prepared a little in advance, 2 hours before the picnic, but it's worth it.

Ingredients:

1-2 medium zucchini
2-3 carrots
1 bell pepper

How to cook: Grate the taverns and carrots with a Korean carrot grater, cut the pepper into thin strips. For dressing, mix 3 tablespoons of vinegar, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 0.5 tsp. tablespoons of salt, 1 tsp. a spoonful of sugar, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of Korean carrot seasoning, squeeze 2-3 large cloves through a press.

Mix everything well and leave at room temperature for 1-2 hours.

"Armenian" salad

This salad can also be prepared in nature while the kebab is being prepared. Eggplants can be baked on wire racks directly on the fire and this will add a special piquancy to the salad, believe me!

Ingredients:

Eggplant 3 pcs
Red onion 1 pc
Pomegranate seeds
Cheese "Sirtaki" 150 - 200 grams
Vegetable oil for refueling
Parsley or cilantro

How to cook: cut eggplants into plates, grease with vegetable oil and fry. When they cool down a little, you can cut them into slices (you can do this at home in advance and "collect" the salad itself at the picnic). Cut the onion into half rings, add pomegranate seeds, diced cheese and herbs. Season everything with vegetable oil and mix. Believe me, this salad is perfect for a kebab.
