Have you tried a combination of apricot and gooseberry? If not, then I highly recommend making apricot and gooseberry jam for the winter. It is delicious and aromatic. The sweetness of the apricots is pleasantly balanced with the slight sourness of the gooseberry.
For a sunny amber jam, use the green gooseberries. If you use red gooseberries, the jam will be a rich ruby color.
Making such a jam from apricots with gooseberries is not difficult and everyone likes it. It goes well with pancakes, pancakes, cheese cakes, toasts and even ice cream.
