A simple and quick casserole without kneading dough always helps. It is prepared from the most common and affordable products. Let's take pita bread as a basis, and cottage cheese and tomatoes as a filling. Fill everything with egg filling and sprinkle with grated cheese for a beautiful crust.
It turns out such a casserole is juicy, moderately satisfying and very tasty. It is perfect for breakfast or dinner with the whole family.
By the way, you can add other ingredients to the filling to taste, for example, bell peppers, sausages, any cooked meat, onions - everything in the refrigerator. This recipe for pita bread with cottage cheese helps out when there is no time to cook for a long time.
Try this version of the quick casserole too. It's simple and delicious!

Ingredients:

  • thin pita bread - 1-2 pcs.
  • cottage cheese - 200 g
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • cheese - 50 g

Fill:

  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • milk - 150 ml
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare the ingredients.
Cut 200 g of thin pita bread into strips about 5 cm wide. We put the pita strips in a pile and cut into squares. You can also tear pita bread with your hands.

2. Cut 2 medium sized tomatoes in half and cut into slices.
50 g of cheese three on a coarse grater.

3. Grease the baking dish with butter. The size of my form is 26 x 17 cm.

4. Put part of the lavash on the bottom of the mold. Put some cottage cheese on pita bread. In total, you will need 200 g of cottage cheese of any fat content. Put tomato slices on top of the curd.

5. We repeat everything again, a layer of pita bread, cottage cheese and tomatoes. In this method, we fold the entire casserole, I got three layers of each ingredient. Put pita bread in the last layer.

6. Break 3 eggs into a separate bowl, pour 150 ml of milk here. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything until smooth.

7. Pour the prepared filling into the prepared form. Sprinkle everything on top with grated cheese.

8. We put the form in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake for about 20-25 minutes.

Serve the casserole hot.
The casserole turned out to be very tasty and juicy. It is easy to prepare and you don't even need to knead the dough. It is great for breakfast or dinner.
