Festive mackerel rolls with cheese come out just amazing in taste and appearance!

Ingredients:

  • fresh frozen mackerel - 3 pcs.
  • cheese - 200 g
  • lemon - 1/3
  • dill - 1 bunch
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe:

1. Defrost the fish.
Each carcass is washed, we remove the entrails and head.
Cut off the side fins.
Cut the mackerel along the belly to the tail and carefully remove the ridge and bones.

2. Salt each fillet of mackerel, pepper and pour with lemon juice.

3. For the filling, three cheese on a coarse grater.
Finely chop a bunch of parsley.

4. Mix the grated cheese and chopped dill.

5. Put the cheese filling on one of the halves of the mackerel fillet.
Cover with the second half.
We correct the filling so that it is inside the mackerel.

6. We tightly wrap the stuffed fish carcass with a thread.

7. Put the prepared mackerel in a baking dish, cover with foil.
Put in an oven preheated to 180ÂșC.
Bake for about 45 minutes.
In the last 5 minutes of baking, remove the foil from the mold and let the fish brown.

8. Cool the baked rolls to room temperature, and then in the refrigerator.
We remove the threads.
We cut cold rolls.
If the fish is poorly chopped, then it can be placed in the freezer for 20 minutes.

9. These rolls can be prepared in advance.
Wrap the finished chilled rolls tightly in cling film and freeze.

Festive mackerel rolls are beautiful, fragrant and very tasty.
