Delicious and beautiful chicken roll that is worthy of the king's table! It turns out to be delicate in taste and appetizing in the context. Soft chicken meat in combination with mushroom filling and omelet will win over even the most discerning guests. It looks amazing on a festive table and is perfect for a birthday or even a New Year.
At first glance, it may seem that cooking is difficult and time-consuming, but it is not. With a certain skill, the preparation of the roll will not take you much time. You can also add cheese to the filling to the mushrooms. And instead of mushrooms, you can use prunes or dried apricots with walnuts. In any case, it will turn out very tasty and beautiful.

Prepare such a royal chicken roll and surprise your guests with an unusual appetizer!

Ingredients:

  • chicken carcass - 2 kg
  • champignons - 200 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • adjika - 150 g
  • milk - 30 ml
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • seasoning for chicken - 1 tbsp. l.
  • mayonnaise - 2 tbsp. l.
  • salt to taste
  • pepper - to taste
  • vegetable oil - for frying

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare the marinade. Put 150 g of adjika in a bowl, add a teaspoon of salt, black ground pepper, squeeze 3 cloves of garlic here and add a tablespoon of chicken seasoning. Mix everything well.

2. We take a chicken carcass weighing about 2 kg. Carefully use a knife to separate the chicken skeleton from the meat. It is desirable to leave the skin intact. We cut off the chicken wings, we do not need them.
We cut off a part of the chicken fillet and put it in places where there is no meat (see how to do this in detail in the video).

3. We cover everything on top with cling film and beat it off a little with a hammer. Chicken fillet should be beaten off especially well.

4. Grease the prepared meat on top with marinade evenly. Transfer the meat to a saucepan and marinate in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours.

5. After 6 hours, prepare the filling for the roll.
Cut 200 g of champignons into slices.

6. Put the chopped mushrooms in a hot pan with a small amount of sunflower oil. Fry over high heat until the liquid evaporates.

7. While the mushrooms are fried, cut 1 onion into quarter rings.

8. Pour some more sunflower oil into a pan with mushrooms and put chopped onions.
We fry everything until the onions are ready.
At the end of frying, salt, pepper, stir and remove from heat.

9. Now let's make an omelet. Break 2 eggs into a bowl. Add 30 ml of milk, salt and beat with a fork.

10. Pour the mixture into a hot pan with a little sunflower oil. When the omelet is fried on one side, turn it over to the other side.

11. Put the finished omelet on the marinated chicken. Cut off the top and bottom of the omelet and put it on the sides.

12. Put the fried mushrooms on top of the omelet.

13. Roll the chicken with the filling into a roll and sew it with threads.

14. Lubricate the baking dish a little with sunflower oil and put the chicken roll on it with the seam down.
Grease the roll on top with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise.

15. We put everything in a preheated oven up to 180 degrees. We bake for about 50-60 minutes.

16. We take the finished roll out of the oven and cover with a board. We put a load on top of it, I put a cast-iron cauldron.
We leave the roll under oppression until it cools completely.

We take out the threads from the already cooled roll. Cut the finished chicken roll into portions and serve.
The royal chicken roll turned out to be soft, aromatic and very tasty. This is a great dish for a festive table. It can also be prepared for future use and frozen.
