In the first lines of today's publication, I want to ask a question:

I asked this question for a reason, but with intent. Because the next question is about food. Yes Yes.

- Will you start eating from a person who calls himself a culinary specialist and a professional, but at the same time his dishes look so that the mechanism of... hmm... reverse gastric motility is triggered only by sight?

I will not get personal, but for many years I have been listed in my acquaintances (just acquaintances, not even friends, I want to emphasize) a person who considers himself a culinary expert from God, a culinary blogger, of course, and also a restaurant critic. On Zen it is not, so do not ask for attendance passwords, I will not surrender. A person expresses his opinion on another site and regularly tries to sell it to various publications.

Everything would be fine, but now I look at what his culinary talent is giving birth to and, frankly, I'm getting sick. One gets the feeling that a friend is cooking not for people, but for piglets. Pour the view of the finished food into the trough.

I will not say that his dishes taste bad. I haven't tried it. I couldn't. I am from the category that is called "visuals". It is very important for me that the food not only smells, but also looks attractive. Then I can already appreciate the taste.

But if it looks like the stomach is not constricting with anticipation, but with the urge to wriggle out, then what taste, to hell?

And with this comrade, we argued several times about this.

He claims - why should he go out of his way at home, complicate his task, waste time if he cooks for himself and his family? Enough at work!

And at home is not a restaurant or even a cafe. homemade food…

- Yes, no one at home has ever bothered with beauty! Previously, they ate out of the common pot, who thought about serving there?

But I’m sure it’s wrong somehow. Because a professional culinary specialist, cook, critic, blogger (emphasize the necessary), cooks well ALWAYS. Serving a normal dish is in the blood. Yes, you don't have to bother with aesthetics and lay lavender leaves around the edges of the plate, but food should induce appetite, not repel.

Even if you do not have professional equipment for shooting, even if you have your hands from one place in terms of photographing... You can shoot well even with a simple phone! Good - this is when you want to eat food, and not take it to the garbage chute or give it to the piglets.

Serving delicious food beautifully is, first of all, a pleasure even for yourself. And it does not depend on time, place, at home, at work ...
