An honest review of the tea drink. What surprised me, and why I will no longer buy such tea.
Recently, my wife and I have almost stopped drinking black and green tea. Now more and more we brew various herbal preparations.
Therefore, in stores we often have to buy something that we have never tried before. Recently I bought in a store, as it seemed to me, a rather large package of herbal tea, and when I opened it, I was very surprised.
What surprised me, and why I will no longer buy such tea - I'll tell you at the end, but now let's show you what the box looks like.
What the box looks like
The packaging is very beautiful and attractive. On the front side there is a nice looking drawing with a teapot. I really like such drawings, most likely because of him I chose this package among many others.
What kind of tea
On the back you can find the detailed composition of the drink. In addition to orange and lemon balm, there is oregano, which is most of all here (since it comes first in the composition), mint, St. John's wort, grapefruit and cornflower petals.
The composition is excellent, there is absolutely no tea in it, but for me this is only a plus.
By the way, the composition of the tea is clearly visible through the hole in the box.
Who is the manufacturer
Tea is produced by the company "Honey House" in the Novgorod region in the village of Moika. I have never met such a manufacturer before, so I have nothing to say about it. It's time to open the package and see what's inside.
What's inside the box
Here disappointment and surprise awaited me. Opening the box, I found such a modest tea bag inside.
When I bought tea, I expected the whole box to be filled with it, not just the bottom. I specially photographed the box of tea along with the package itself, so that you can understand it better.
The box turned out to be almost twice the volume of the tea itself. And this deception is clearly deliberate. So that the buyer has the impression that there is a large package of tea in front of him.
On the side, a window was also specially made so that you could see what was inside. All this gave me a false impression. It's time to take stock.
Outcomes
The tea, by the way, turned out to be delicious. But I am still under the impression of deception. Although the manufacturer indicated all the grammars on the packaging correctly, you can't find fault with him.
But I definitely won't buy this brand's tea anymore, even in spite of its taste. I don't like being misled.
