I unpack the purchases from the Chinese market and show what I ordered. I share my impressions.
From time to time I order from China different things for the kitchen. I order there because it is difficult to find these things in the vastness of Russian online stores. And if you find it, then you have to place orders in different stores and pay for delivery each time.
From China, of course, they take longer than from Russia, but there is free shipping. Recently, I most often order through the JOOM marketplace, I like it more than Aliexpress, since all orders come in one package, and I do not need to go to the post office 10 times.
The last time I ordered for 3,500 rubles, let's show you what.
scales
I already have a kitchen scale that is still working, but recently I noticed that their battery began to run out very quickly. The fact is that this scale uses a small CR2032 battery.
Therefore, I ordered a beautiful scale with two little finger batteries. They look very stylish and will look good in the frame when shooting recipes. Also, an important point for me is the absence of a brand logo.
These scales weigh from 1 gram to 5 kilograms. True, like previous scales, they do not cope with light weight, for this you need to buy more accurate scales. But I don't need super accuracy, so I'll get by with these.
Teflon mat
My old rugs for 4 years fell into disrepair, so I took a couple of new ones. I took it specially in black, since carbon deposits are not visible on it.
I love teflon rugs, they replace a lot of baking paper. I liked these rugs and have already ordered 4 more. When they arrive, I will cut them to the size of the molds and use them when baking biscuits.
Silicone lids
I hadn't originally planned to buy these covers. They seemed useless to me. But I decided to take it for a test and did not lose. The thing is really very handy.
After filming, I often have half an apple, half a lemon or other large fruits. I used to just put them in the refrigerator and the surface would wind up. Now I close it with a silicone lid.
Form for nougat
I love nougat. But there is a difficulty in its preparation - the nougat is very sticky during the cooking process. To prevent it from sticking to everything, the mold has to be oiled, which affects the taste.
Therefore, when I saw this form on the marketplace, I immediately ordered it. The set includes the form itself, a silicone lid and 2 rolling pins to make it easier to distribute the nougat in the form.
Form for ice cream
Last summer I tried the Brazilian Palleta ice cream, which is made from fresh fruit with a little sugar added. Such ice cream is expensive in Russia at 140-200 rubles per serving.
Then I decided that I would do it myself. Especially for this I ordered myself a silicone mold for 10 servings of ice cream.
I have already tested it and made a homemade ice cream smoothie (you can watch the video at the link below). The form has shown itself well, I will continue to use it.
