Yes, cucumbers are sold in the store in winter, but they are not at all, from the word at all! There is absolutely no cucumber aroma. My cucumbers, after defrosting, smell like fresh. And not everyone realizes that these are frozen cucumbers. And they immediately ask - where did I find such fragrant ones in winter.

I plant cucumbers myself, I have a vegetable garden and in this way I save the harvest. We do not eat canned cucumbers very much, but these "fly away". We love lightly salted cucumbers, but in winter, very tasty lightly salted cucumbers come out of frozen ones!

In winter, cucumbers are very expensive, and how much they will cost this winter is hard to imagine, but I have my own "gratis". And in the summer, you can buy fragrant cucumbers from grandmothers "for a penny".
