The most popular side dish with us is, of course, potatoes. There are millions of ways to cook it. Everyone finds their own.
Today we bake young potatoes in slices with spices and the aroma of garlic.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 0.5 tsp l. salt
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
- 2 cloves of garlic or 0.5 tsp. l. granular
- 1 hour l. mixtures of peppers and other spices (dry herbs, for example)
How to cook:
1. Wash the potatoes. You do not need to peel young potatoes. It is enough to thoroughly wash with a brush, scrape a little with a knife and that will be enough.
2. Cut the potatoes into wedges, slices or slices. Rinse in cold water! And dry slightly on paper towels.
3. Sprinkle the potatoes with salt, herbs and spices. Pour in vegetable oil. Pass the garlic through a press here. Granular just add on top.
4. Stir the potatoes and leave for a couple of minutes.
5. Cover the baking sheet with foil, making bumpers out of it. You can use baking paper.
6. Distribute the potato slices along the bottom of the baking sheet and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
7. Bake for about forty minutes. Sometimes it takes more or even less time. Care must be taken so that the potatoes do not burn or dry out.
Serve such potatoes hot. This is a great side dish for any meal.
