They are so called, because we will measure the ingredients with the most ordinary 100 gram glass. Not with spoons, measuring cups or scales, or even matchboxes.
The measure is interesting, unusual, but it works. This is what my grandmother did.
Ingredients:
cucumbers
dill umbrellas
horseradish and currant leaves
Bay leaf
peppercorns
garlic (or, if you wish, who loves what)
for 1 liter of water, 1 glass of sugar and 9% vinegar and 0.5 glasses of salt
How to cook:
1. Soak cucumbers in cold water for 2-5 hours.
2. Then wash and trim the ponytails.
3. At the bottom of a clean jar (not sterile), place the spicy leaves and seasonings according to the recipe. It is best to take the garlic with a whole head, not peeled, and cut it across 1-2 times. Place just such a half in a jar.
4. Fill the jars with prepared cucumbers.
5. For the first time, pour the cucumbers with steep, simple boiling water and let cool until warm.
6. Drain the water, measure and boil the brine in it. That is, add salt, sugar and vinegar to 1 liter of liquid with glasses.
7. Pour cucumber jars to the very top with hot brine (it is recommended to do a little overflow).
8. Turn the jars onto the lid and wrap them well. Leave to cool completely.
Then it is advisable to chill in the refrigerator for a day and that's it! Can be stored in an apartment.
Successful preparations and a delicious winter!
