In Turkish homes, special sweets are often served with strong tea or aromatic coffee. For example, Turkish delight.
I know many recipes for this delicacy, but today I will tell you about the most beloved and simple one - about the tangerine delight.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups tangerine juice
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp. l. starch with a slide
  • 1 hour l. butter

For sprinkling:

  • coconut flakes

How to cook:

1. Squeeze juice from tangerines or make such a brew - peel about 1 kg of tangerines, disassemble into slices. Pour 1 glass of water over and over medium heat. Bring to a boil and turn off immediately.

Grind tangerine wedges or use a blender. Strain, add the right amount of water so that exactly 2 cups of tangerine juice comes out of the concentrate.

2. Pour sugar and starch into the cooled brew or juice.

3. Put on low heat and begin to cook jelly, similar to pudding. Preparing very quickly! And you need to stir.

4. When the mass boils, immediately remove from heat, add butter and stir quickly.

5. As soon as it begins to set, pour into a heated tall glass. You can use an ice mold or something else. It is simple in a glass and it is always at hand, and ready-made delight will easily come out of shape when it cools down.

6. Remove the dishes with Turkish delight in the refrigerator for 4 hours. To remove the frozen dessert, you need to gently run your fingers around the edges, then turn the glass to one side and onto a plate.

7. Cut and cut the resulting sausage to any size. Sprinkle with coconut flakes.

Turkish delight is ready!
