I take a chicken drumstick. But, any part of the chicken will do. And I also remove the bone from the shin and I get a whole fillet without cuts. You can see how it is very simple and quick to do at the end of the article, I will leave a link to the publication (there is a video there, for clarity). You can cook with bones, but my friend insists that the "correct" chicken should be boneless.
First, marinate the chicken in the "secret" marinade. I add sesame oil, vegetable oil is also possible, but it comes out especially fragrant with sesame oil. If you don't have sesame oil, use regular oil, or you can add sesame seeds.
I will stir so that the oil is evenly distributed over the meat, then the spices will also be evenly distributed.
I add sweet paprika and a little more smoked paprika, you get chicken with a smoked aroma. Deliciously delicious! My friend from Azerbaijan still insists on adding walnuts and dried mint. But I don't really like this combination, so I won't use it.
Now mix the peppers, garlic (grated) and mix.
It's time for the liquid ingredients: soy sauce.
And my secret ingredient is pomegranate sauce (narsharab sauce). There are many pomegranates in Azerbaijan and this sauce is popular there. A friend sent me a jar, very good, thick. How delicious it turns out with him! I recommend it directly. With him, the fish is delicious. You can add honey instead of this sauce, but the taste will not be the same.
It is better to let the chicken marinate, at least half an hour. But, if there is no time at all, you can cook right away.
I take a frying pan (the handle is removed from me, we will cook in the oven), you can take a baking dish. I grease it with a little vegetable oil.
I spread the potatoes, salt a little.
Then tomatoes.
Zucchini and salt. You can take any vegetables, according to the season.
Spread the chicken on top and pour with the remaining marinade. We can stop at this.
But, I also mix sour cream, egg, salt and pour this sauce over the chicken.
