✅👌 Zucchini by themselves have an expressionless, almost neutral taste. Therefore, they are often used to make cutlets, stews and even preserves.

But today I want to offer you something new - barbecue flavored zucchini!

✨The whole secret lies in the seasoning and pre-frying. Such a snack can even be prepared for the winter. If, of course, something remains after the tasting! 🥰

📕 To prepare the dish you will need: 🥙

Zucchini (young or mature) - 1 kg
Onion - 1 large or 2 small onions
Garlic - 2-3 cloves
Ready seasoning for kebabs - 15 g
Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
Salt - 0.5 tbsp. l.
Vinegar (9%) - 25 ml
Ground black pepper - 0.25 tsp l.
Refined sunflower oil - 25 ml

👨🏻‍🍳 Let's start cooking... ⤵️⤵️⤵️

If the zucchini is already mature - with a thick skin and large seeds inside, be sure to clean them from both. All that remains is cut into small pieces, no more than 0.5 cm thick. Young zucchini do not need to be cleaned, they just need to be washed well, cut off the ends and chopped into thin circles.

We load the sliced ​​zucchini into a deep bowl, pour over them with oil and mix well. Then transfer to a dry preheated frying pan and fry over medium heat until light brown. Do not forget to stir periodically.

At this time, finely chop the garlic and cut the onion into quarters / rings. If you do not like pieces of garlic in your dishes, you can pass it through a special press.

This is how the zucchini should be browned. Let them stay a little hard on the inside rather than creep in the pan.

We transfer them from the pan to a deep bowl. Add chopped onion with garlic, pour in the barbecue seasoning, salt, sugar, pour in the vinegar.

Mix everything well.

Put a flat plate on top of the zucchini, and put a weight of 2-4 kg on it. We send it to the refrigerator for the night.

During this time, a lot of liquid will be released. In principle, the snack can be eaten right away. But if you want to prepare it for the winter, the zucchini must be laid out in clean jars, sterilized for 20 minutes in boiling water and rolled up with sterile lids.

Zucchini are juicy, spicy and aromatic. An excellent addition to meat, fried potatoes. And it's very tasty to eat them with bread.
