But I'll write anyway - pricing is annoying me now. It is not without reason that the FAS in our Moscow region and the region discovered that some chains simply overestimate the prices. It turns out that in areas where one of the chains dominates, the prices for main products in its stores are ten percent higher.
Well, about ten percent higher - FAS thinks so.
According to my impressions and calculations, prices generally fly to heaven. Both in small stores and in chains. Take, for example, tomatoes - from the price tag on them, they just make their eyes on their foreheads. In shops nearby, they cost 250-310 rubles per kilo. And this despite the fact that the season has not yet ended.
Yes, you can buy cheaper in the same "five", but ...
This is the trick - if you get to Food City or Teply Stan (we have wholesale markets there), then those tomatoes that are 250-310 there can be bought for... 80-100 rubles per kg. And plastic a la "inexpensive supermarket" and cheaper.
That is, the margin for a good product, which, in the opinion of the local “oligarchs”, should cost well, will be… 200 percent or so.
Manufacturers, by the way, are not lagging behind in trying to earn more by spending less.
Yes, yes, I know, meat is expensive, flour is expensive, butter is expensive, eggs are expensive... everything is expensive. There are also salaries for employees, water, electricity, rent of premises, payments of loans for equipment, taxes... but!
They buy ingredients for their products in bulk, and not at all at the prices indicated in stores. A short search will return the wholesale price of pork, for example, 170 rubles per kg. and even lower.
And how much is a kilogram of more or less edible dumplings, in the filling of which, well, at least fifty percent will be pork (otherwise there is such a cocktail, including offal most often, that the hair stands on end)? Dumplings from Miratorg, not even a kilogram, but 800 grams - 522 rubles, the Siberian collection, if with discounts, it will be cheaper, 319 rubles (in the Metro looked)
Those that are simpler also please at the price. And, what is most interesting, the price, yes, does not change almost - it grows a little, but at the same time the weight of the package becomes less and less. Recently in "Pyaterochka" I saw 700 grams of packaging in general.

The children came to the conclusion that there was a piece of raw dough inside, judging by the sensations. And to taste, they did not understand at all what (they threw it out as a result).
To summarize what has been written, I have a strong belief that the quality of the products is falling, the price is growing, and the store margin for everything is off scale.
And this is very abnormal.
