The simplest pumpkin recipe I know. It's hard to say what it looks like. Doesn't look like anything. Well, for a pumpkin, for sure. And very tasty! This is how I cooked champignons. And one day I decided to try and cook a pumpkin in the same way. And now I recommend it to everyone. The name, by the way, fits perfectly here.
HOW TO COOK:
Peel the pumpkin and cut it into slices about 5 mm thick. It doesn't matter what size the slices are. It is the thickness that matters.
Transfer the pumpkin pieces to a bowl and salt. I leave it for 15 minutes for the pumpkin to let the juice out.
Then I put them on a paper towel and dry them.
Now the pumpkin needs to be rolled in flour. Pour flour into the bag, add a little black pepper, mix. And I send the pumpkin slices there. I close the bag and mix everything well again. Every piece of pumpkin is in flour and the kitchen is clean. I have not used plates of flour for a long time. And you?
I put the pumpkin slices in the pan. Fry over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.
Then I spread it on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
This is already delicious! Those whom I treated could not believe that this was an ordinary pumpkin. Doesn't sound like anything!
It turns out even tastier if you sprinkle the pumpkin with chopped garlic and herbs. Or you can serve it with sour cream sauce. I shared the recipe HERE.
