The recipe is extremely simple, the salad turns out to be both sweet and savory at the same time, lovers of unusual flavor combinations will definitely like it.

Beets need to be baked first. And in order to save a little time, I immediately cut it into rather large slices about 0.8 mm thick. Put on a baking sheet, salt and pepper. With a silicone brush, I smeared each piece with vegetable oil and sent it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

While the beets are baking in the oven, I prepare the dressing.

For dressing, you need a little parsley, I cut it finely. I remove the zest from one orange and squeeze out the juice, you will need about 30 ml.

In a small bowl I mix orange juice, vegetable oil, liquid honey, salt and parsley. Mix well and season the still warm beets.

Beets must be thoroughly bathed in a gas station, transferred to a container and sent to the refrigerator for at least an hour, or better overnight.

I eat this salad just like that, but it can also be served with a baked chicken.

Ingredients:

  • Beet 600 grams
  • Orange juice 30 ml
  • Zest of one orange
  • Vegetable oil 2-3 tablespoons
  • Liquid honey 1 tbsp. spoon
  • Parsley, salt, pepper to taste
