✅👌When you need to quickly cook something for a snack or a light dinner, I always remember this recipe.

I always keep a jar of sprat in the refrigerator: and in a hurry I cook such a snack

✨ Such an appetizer is prepared from simple and affordable ingredients, but conquers everyone with its excellent taste.

✨For variety, you can add a little canned peas or pickled cucumbers to the appetizer - you can't drag it by the ears! 🥰

📕To prepare a snack you will need: 🥙

Sprats in oil - 1 can (180-200 g)
Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
Processed cheese - 1 pc. (80-100 g)
Onions - 0.5-1 pcs. (depending on its size)
Greens (dill or other) - small bunch
Carrots - 1 pc.
Salt - 0.5 tsp l.
Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
Vinegar (9%) - 1 tbsp. l.
Mayonnaise - 1 tbsp. l.

👨🏻‍🍳 Let's start cooking... ⤵️⤵️⤵️

First of all, we deal with onions, because they will need time for pickling. We clean the small head or half of the middle one and cut into small cubes.

Pour the chopped onion into a small deep bowl, add sugar, salt and vinegar. Fill everything with warm boiled water so that it covers the contents of the bowl. Mix thoroughly and set aside for now. Instead of onions, you can use green onions, then you do not need to pickle it.

We also need to boil carrots and eggs. It is advisable to do this in advance so that the ingredients have time to cool completely. Drain the oil from the sprat, and put the fish in a deep bowl, convenient for mixing. Knead thoroughly with a fork.

Clean the cooled boiled carrots and three on a fine grater. This can be done directly into the bowl of sprats to reduce the amount of dirty dishes.

Grind the cheese in the same way. To make it easier to rub, you can freeze it - put it in the freezer for 15 minutes, and then it will not stick much to the grater.

We also clean three hard-boiled and cooled eggs.

Wash, dry and finely chop the dill. We send it to a common bowl. Drain the marinade from the onion and also pour it into the appetizer.

It remains only to add mayonnaise and mix everything well. You should not put a lot of mayonnaise, because sprats are already quite fatty. We try the appetizer, if we like everything, we leave it that way. If there is not enough salt, add salt.

The appetizer is ready! It can be served on bread or toast. It turns out very tasty and satisfying. Sprats give it a bright smoky taste, carrots - sweetness, onions - piquancy, and cheese - a creamy note.
