The other day a friend dropped by to visit me, I was just preparing "Julien". So, I was told that it is not prepared that way, and it does not at all look like the classic "Julien", not so noble. So what, the most important thing for me is that it would be tasty (but it turns out really tasty).
I cut one large onion in half rings and fry in vegetable oil until slightly golden brown.
The very first deviation from the recipe is the option of slicing mushrooms, I do not cut them into thin slices, but rather coarsely. I cut the champignons (not porcini mushrooms) into quarters.
I fry them over high heat in the same pan as the onions. When the excess moisture from the champignons is gone, I add forest mushrooms, namely the boletus, which have already been pre-cut and frozen. Fry the mushrooms together for about 10-15 minutes and add the fried onions.
I heat the mushrooms with onions for another minute and add sour cream, mix well and transfer the contents of the pan to a baking dish.
Sprinkle with plenty of grated cheese and put it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
Serve immediately hot to mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
- Champignons 200 grams
- Forest mushrooms about 250 grams
- Onion 1 pc
- Sour cream 150 grams
- Cheese 100 grams
How do you like this "Julien"?
And here is another interesting way to cook champignons:
Ingredients:
450 grams of champignons
1 onion
3-4 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons vinegar 9%
1 bay leaf
3-4 peas of allspice
