A simple and delicious dinner in a roast sleeve.
I use a baking bag in my kitchen quite a bit. I bake in it both duck for the new year, and meat with bulgur, today I baked chicken with cabbage. It turned out very tasty, quickly, without unnecessary oil, and even the dish passed for a dietary one.
I will be an ordinary chicken, namely the drumstick and thighs, I do not remove the skin because I have a homemade chicken. Salt, pepper, add ground paprika and leave it like that while I'm preparing the cabbage. You can use special spices for chicken, add sour cream or butter.
I use sauerkraut for this recipe, rinse it twice and squeeze it well. If you do not like sourness in such dishes, then you can take fresh cabbage, chop it and mash it well with your hands with salt. In this case, it will take a little more time, but it will also be very tasty.
I add a lot of onions to the cabbage, cut two heads in half rings. I mix everything well, do not add salt, and send it to the baking sleeve. On top of the cabbage, I spread the chicken with the skin up and tie the bag, with the help of scissors I make small cuts so that it does not explode.
I send a baking sheet with a package to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 1 hour. 10 minutes before cooking, I cut the bag and send it back to the oven so that an appetizing crust forms.
