This recipe makes a casserole with cabbage and minced meat for lunch or dinner. It turns out to be very aromatic, tasty and juicy. Cabbage goes well with juicy minced meat and mushrooms, and an appetizing cheese crust flaunts on top.

Preparing this casserole from cabbage with minced meat is not difficult. If desired, you can add grated carrots to the cabbage. And such a dish in the oven can be classified as dietary. One has only to replace minced pork and beef with less fatty beef or chicken and reduce the amount of oil when sautéing vegetables.

Ingredients:
- cabbage - 1200 g
- minced pork and beef - 500 g
- champignon mushrooms - 300 g
- onion - 1 pc.

- vegetable oil - for frying
Fill:
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- sour cream - 100 ml
- cheese - 50 g
Step by step recipe
1. First, let's prepare all the ingredients.
Finely chop the white cabbage. It will need about 1 kg or a little more.
Put the chopped cabbage into a bowl. Salt the cabbage to taste. Mix everything a little, rubbing with salt with your hands.
2. Put the prepared cabbage in a pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. Fry the cabbage for about 3 minutes over high heat, stirring with a spatula, and then cover the pan with a lid and reduce the heat to a minimum. Simmer cabbage for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. If necessary, you can pour a little water into the skillet with cabbage.
3. While the cabbage is stewing, prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Cut 300 g of champignons in half and cut into slices.
Put the chopped mushrooms in a dry hot frying pan and fry over high heat until all the liquid has evaporated.
4. When all the liquid has evaporated, pour a little vegetable oil into a pan with mushrooms. Salt the mushrooms to taste and pepper. Mix the mushrooms and fry the mushrooms until golden brown.
5. Cut one medium-sized onion into cubes.
Put the prepared onion in a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. Pass until golden.
6. Add 0.5 kg of minced meat to the finished onion, I use minced pork and beef. Mix everything and fry over medium heat until the minced meat changes color. At the very end, salt the minced meat to taste and pepper. Mix everything and remove from heat.
7. Grease the baking dish with butter.
Put a little more than half of the stewed cabbage on the bottom of the mold.
8. Put the minced meat with onions on the cabbage and evenly distribute it in shape. Then put the mushrooms. And cover everything with the remaining stewed cabbage.
9. Preparing the fill.
Break 2 eggs into a bowl, add 100 ml of sour cream and salt to taste. Mix everything with a whisk until smooth.
10. 50 g of cheese three on a coarse grater.
Put the grated cheese in a bowl for pouring and mix everything.
11. Pour the prepared mass evenly over the casserole on top using a spoon.
12. We put everything in a preheated oven up to 200 degrees. We bake for about 20 minutes.
13. The casserole with cabbage and minced meat turned out to be very tasty and juicy. It is not difficult to prepare it and will be an excellent alternative to ordinary stewed cabbage.
