A beautiful and tasty salad "Sicily" for a festive table and dear guests.
I rarely go to various establishments. Rarely, but aptly!))) This time I took with me a recipe for an amazing warm salad, which I liked so much that I wanted to repeat it at home. Moreover, it is much cheaper to prepare it yourself than to order it in a restaurant.
Preparing such a salad is not difficult at all, all the ingredients are available, and what is most important for me, there is no mayonnaise in it.
You need to start preparing the salad with potatoes. It needs to be peeled and cut into small cubes. Season the potatoes with salt, pepper, and ground paprika. Add a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil, mix well and send to the oven.
The potatoes should not have time to cool down before serving the salad, that's the whole point. Therefore, while it is baking, you need to prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Cut the red onion into thin quarter rings, add a pinch of salt, the same amount of sugar, a little vinegar and water. Mix well and let it brew.
In the meantime, we cut the cherry tomatoes. I also added some yellow tomatoes for color. Open a can of canned tuna and drain off the excess liquid.
Rinse the lettuce leaves well, dry and chop or pick (choose yourself) in large pieces, this will be a pillow for our salad.
And when the potatoes are ready, we combine all the ingredients in one plate. Season with vegetable oil, add salt and pepper. Mix well and serve immediately. The salad should be still warm, and then it will be so tasty that it is simply impossible to come off.

- Potatoes 4 pieces of medium size
- Tomatoes 15-200 grams
- Canned tuna 1 can
- Red onion 1 pc small
- Lettuce leaves
- Vegetable oil, salt, pepper, paprika
