If I have bread left, I put it in a bag and store it in the refrigerator door. And when I have time, I cook croutons, which I then serve with soup or add to salads. And just like that we love to crunch them))
Previously, I cooked croutons only in the oven. It took me 20-25 minutes. Then I got the hang of drying them in a frying pan. You don't need to preheat the oven, but it didn't work out less in time. And without oil in the pan, they do not want to dry or fry. And with butter it is very greasy. I refused the frying pan altogether.
And recently I found a third way how you can still cook croutons. Both fast and easy! I cut the bread into small pieces in the same way.
I put it in a baking dish - glass or ceramic. I have it from special paper. If there is no form, you can take an ordinary deep plate.
Now sprinkle with spices and add a little oil. I have olive, but any vegetable will do.

Of course, you can take any spices to your liking! I mix crackers with spices and butter. And I put the form with crackers in the microwave for 2 minutes (power 600-700 W).
After a minute, it is better to mix the croutons so that they dry evenly. And that's it! After 2 minutes, you can serve croutons with soup or add them to a salad. Simple and fast!
