Hello everyone! My name is Natalia and I am glad to welcome you to my channel Tasty Simply Fast!
Today I want to invite you to cook a delicious apple pie. The pie is very tasty, moderately sweet, it has a tender dough, and a very aromatic and juicy apple filling.
He may look like Charlotte in appearance, but this is not Charlotte.
You can watch a step-by-step video recipe in my video below.
Let's cook
- Wash the apples, remove the core and cut into slices about 5 mm thick. For the filling we need 400 grams of apples, which is about 4 medium sized apples
- Sprinkle chopped apples with 20 grams or 1 tbsp. spoon of sugar, and mix
- melt 20 grams of butter in a frying pan
- pour the apples into a frying pan and, stirring occasionally, simmer the apples over medium heat for 5-8 minutes, depending on what kind of apple you have. I stewed apples for 5 minutes, if your apples are winter, tough, then you can take a little longer. Apples shouldn't fall apart
At the end we add
- 1 hour a spoonful of vanilla sugar
- 1/3 h spoons of cinnamon
Vanilla sugar and cinnamon can be added to taste.
- mix until smooth and remove from heat. We put the apples on a plate and leave them on the table, while we prepare the dough ourselves
Next, the dough is cooked quickly enough, so do not forget to turn on the oven and heat up to 180 degrees.
I have all the food at room temperature.
Pour into the bowl
- 90 grams or 4.5 tbsp. tablespoons without top sugar
- 10 grams or 2 tsp. vanilla sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- we begin to beat at a low speed of the mixer, gradually increasing the speed to the maximum. The egg mixture will brighten, become airy and increase in size by about 2-2.5 times
- pour in 80 grams or 8 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil. Mix at maximum speed of the mixer until smooth
- pour in 100 grams or (ml) of milk at room temperature. Mix at low speed of the mixer until smooth
- sifting, add 180 grams or 9 tbsp. no topped spoons of wheat flour
- 5 grams or 1 full tsp. a spoonful of baking powder
- mix at low speed of the mixer, not for long, until smooth
I bake a cake in a 19 cm diameter pan. I close the bottom of the form with parchment paper, the sides of the form with Teflon tape.
Instead of tape, you can use parchment paper or grease the edges of the mold with butter and lightly dust with flour.
- pour part of the dough into a mold and evenly level
- put apples on top in one row
- pour a little dough over the apples
- put another row of apples on the dough
- pour the apples with the remaining dough
- put the remaining apples on the dough
- we remove to bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes, the baking time depends on the size of the cake and your oven. My cake was baked for 55 minutes
- We check the readiness of the cake with a wooden stick, pierce it in the middle, since the middle is baked very last. If the stick comes out dry, without residues of wet dough, then the cake is ready
- let the cake cool in the form for 10-15 minutes and free it from the form. Leave the cake to cool on a wire rack to room temperature
- I sprinkle the cooled cake with icing sugar
