When there is no time to cook, I make this lazy pilaf in the oven. Everything is done very simply and quickly, without any fuss. And how delicious it turns out! The whole family will be well fed and happy!

I say right away: this is not quite a classic pilaf, which we are used to cooking in a cauldron or in a frying pan. This is a little different, but still pilaf)) Therefore, it's lazy))

Lazy pilaf in the oven: tasty and without problems (I share the recipe)

Ingredients:

Meat
Rice
Onion
Carrot
Garlic
Salt
Tomato paste
Spices / seasoning for pilaf
Water
Vegetable oil

Preparation:

We need one onion - cut it into half rings or cubes. And one more large carrots - grate, or cut into strips.

Fry onions with carrots in vegetable oil, add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste. Fry for 3-5 minutes, until the vegetables are half cooked.

Cut 300-400 grams of meat into pieces. You can use chicken, pork, beef, turkey - it will be delicious with any kind of meat. Fry the meat in a pan for 5 minutes over high heat.

Now we take a baking dish and put onion and carrot frying on the bottom, then put 1 a glass of washed rice, level it so that it completely covers the vegetables, put the fried on the rice meat. Put 3-4 garlic cloves.

Next, mix 2 cups of water, salt to taste and pepper, add seasoning for pilaf. Stir and pour pilaf.

Cover the form with foil and put in the oven. We cook at a temperature of 200 degrees for 20 minutes, then we take it out and see if there is enough liquid. Rice is different, and if you see that there is not enough liquid, add some more water.

Cover with foil again and cook for another 40 minutes. 5-7 minutes before cooking, the foil can be removed.

Delicious, fragrant lazy pilaf is ready! Bon appetit, my dears!
