If you are worried that you could buy a fake in the store, then here is my way of checking instant coffee. In just 1 minute, you can determine how good a product you have bought.
I anticipate your questions and answer right away: yes, I drink instant coffee. I don't use "real" grain / ground - it makes me sick.
I prefer to buy not just instant, but with the addition of ground - it is more aromatic and tastier. I ordered it several times via the Internet, and it happened that the coffee did not taste like that at all, and it was then that I learned to determine its quality - I saw it on TV in some program. I'll tell you too.
So, we need coffee and cold water.
Pour cold water into a cup, add a little coffee, stir. If the coffee dissolves immediately, the particles begin to "melt" as it were - this is a quality product.
And if it dissolves poorly and for a long time, and there is a strong sediment at the bottom, then this is a fake and it is not clear what was mixed in the composition.
Here's a simple way. I emphasize that it is cold water that is needed - any coffee immediately dissolves in hot, even if it is a fake. And I also prefer to buy coffee in glass cans, because this way I at least visually see what kind of coffee is in the can.
Write in the comments what kind of coffee do you drink and have you come across fakes? If so, which brand? It is interesting to read your opinion!
