✅👌Even with only a glass of kefir available, you can prepare a whole plate of delicious pastries!

Instead of classic pancakes, I adapted to cook such awesome donuts on kefir for breakfast. They are airy, tender on the inside and slightly crispy, golden on the outside.

✨Children gobble up such baked goods by both cheeks. 🥰

✨No jam or condensed milk is needed for them - these donuts are delicious and without "accompaniment"!

📕To make donuts you will need: 🥙

Kefir (fat content does not matter) - 1 glass
Chicken egg (cat. С0) - 1 pc.
Granulated sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
Vanillin or vanilla sugar
Fine salt - a small pinch
Soda - 1/2 tsp l.
Wheat flour - about 200 g (you may need a little more, here already look at the consistency)
Refined sunflower oil - for frying

The dough for making such donuts is prepared so quickly that it is better to immediately pour oil into the pan and put it to heat. So that you can immediately start frying donuts. The oil should be poured with the expectation that the donuts will be immersed in it at least 3/4 of the height. Ideally, the dough pieces should be completely submerged in the oil.

And now we start the dough! To do this, drive the egg into a deep bowl, add sugar, salt and vanillin / vanilla sugar.

Rub everything with a whisk until most of the sugar dissolves.

Now add kefir. I had a thick, thermostatic one, but the consistency of the product does not matter much, as well as its fat content. It is only important that kefir is not cold. If you forget to take it out of the refrigerator beforehand, warm it up a little before adding it to the dough.

Now we sift the flour, pour the soda on top.

And mix everything thoroughly, trying to get rid of absolutely all flour lumps. The dough should be smooth.

In consistency, it will turn out to be a little thinner than the classic pancake dough. It should not drain in a thin stream, but in a wide ribbon.

And if by this time the oil has warmed up well enough, we begin to bake donuts. We arm ourselves with 2 teaspoons. In one we collect the dough, and the other, as it were, we clean it into butter. You can also transfer the dough to a bag, cut off the tip and squeeze small portions of the dough into deep fat. In a word, do it as it is more convenient for you.

Fry the donuts, turning and stirring with a slotted spoon as they brown. Remove the finished baked goods from the pan on paper towels to absorb excess fat.

That's all, the pastries are ready! When serving, you can sprinkle the donuts with powdered sugar, but even without it, they are quite sweet and very tasty.
