You can use any filling, I will have apple pies today. From this dough, I made pies with potatoes, onions and eggs, cabbage - it always turned out very tasty. And most importantly, it is quick - the dough is kneaded in just 10 minutes. I recommend saving or writing down the recipe.
Ingredients:
kefir
eggs
flour
salt
sugar
soda
vegetable oil
apples for filling
butter for the filling
Cooking the filling:
Before making the pies, I first make the filling. As I said, today I have pies with apples.
Finely chop 3 apples and send to a saucepan with a little butter. Add sugar to taste and simmer over medium heat until apples are soft. In this case, the filling must be constantly stirred. If the apples are not juicy, then you can add a little water.
I do not recommend making pies with fresh apples, since they are fried in a pan quickly, and the filling will not have time to cook, it will be raw.
Cooking the dough
While the apple filling is cooling down, make a pie dough.
Mix in a bowl 0.5 liters of kefir, 2 eggs, 0.5 teaspoon of soda, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt. Stir and then add flour - half a glass. Stir well again so that there are no lumps.
And now we add more flour until the dough stops sticking to our hands.
From the resulting dough, make pies with apple filling and fry until golden brown on both sides. Well, or take any other filling you want.
ADVICE: during frying, the pies greatly increase in volume, so make them small and do not put a lot of pies in the pan, otherwise they will be "cramped" and they will not cook well. Well, it will be inconvenient to turn over.
