Ingredients:
- flour - 380 g
- salt - 7 g
- pressed yeast - 10 g
- sunflower oil - 30 ml
- water - 200 ml
- honey - 40 g
- peeled seeds
- sesame
- flax seeds
- italian herbs
- poppy
- sweet paprika
Step by step recipe
1. First, knead the dough. Put yeast in a bowl, add salt and pour half a glass of warm water.
Mix everything until the yeast dissolves.
2. Pour honey, yeast with water and sunflower oil into a large bowl. Mix everything a little.
3. Add flour and the remaining water here in small portions. Knead for about 5-7 minutes, until a smooth, homogeneous dough is obtained. You may need less or more flour for the dough, depending on the stickiness of the flour.
4. Cover the bowl with the dough with foil and put it in a warm place until the dough increases by one and a half to two times.
5. The dough has come, now we divide it into 2 parts.
Roll out each part of the dough as thin as possible on Teflon or parchment paper, the size of a baking sheet in the oven.
6. Lubricate the rolled dough layer on top with sunflower oil in order to better hold the grains.
Put raw peeled seeds, poppy seeds, Italian herbs, sesame seeds, sweet red paprika and flax seeds on top of the dough in any order.
7. In order for the seeds to stick better to the dough, roll them with a rolling pin.
Immediately cut the raw dough into portions with a knife.
8. Put the prepared cookies together with paper on a baking sheet and put in a preheated oven up to 180 degrees. We bake for about 15 minutes.
9. We take out the finished cracker from the oven and let it rest on a baking sheet for 10 minutes. After that, remove it from the paper and transfer it to a plate.
The cracker is crispy, flavorful and delicious. A cereal cracker like this is a great and, most importantly, a healthy replacement for store-bought chips and snacks. It can be safely given to children.
