This dish cooks very quickly. Beets can be pre-baked in the oven or microwave.
It turns out satisfying, healthy, beautiful and quite interesting in taste. Beet lovers will definitely appreciate it.
Ingredients:
- beetroot
- a handful of walnut kernels
- vegetable oil
- salad greens
- 1 hour l. table mustard with grains
- half lemon
- sirtaki cheese
- salt
- ground black pepper
How to cook:
1. Prepare the beets. It is better to use small beets for salad. Ideally not young, as they are too watery.
Wash the beets, cut off the ends and bake. In the oven, bake in foil for 40-50 minutes. In the microwave, cut into pieces and place in a tight bag. Furnace in two passes for 5 minutes.
2. Squeeze the juice from the orange and lemon halves. Mix with mustard and butter. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add some crushed nuts, leaving a few to garnish.
If desired, season the sauce with citrus zest.
3. Put washed and dried salad greens (you can use a salad mixture) or arugula on a dish.
4. Cut the beets into cubes or thin slices and dip in citrus sauce, stir.
5. Put the baked warm beets in the sauce on top of the lettuce leaves. Sprinkle with cubes of chopped or crumbled sirtaki cheese. Decorate with walnuts.
Serve immediately.
